Hi 
 i'm using Trados Studio 2024 - 18.0.1.2259 and we have a subscription DeepL for which we install the plugin DeepL Translation Provider 7.0.8.2 we are facing an error when installing this plugin error "" " failes : Unespected character encountered while parsing value < path", line 0 position 0" 
 i have done also all below steps To make sure all data from the plugin is removed uninstall it from the RWS AppStore integrated in Studio, restart Studio to complete the change so it removes the folders unpacked by the plugin. After the restart, close Studio again and also rename the TranslationProviderCredentialStore bin files ( to TranslationProviderCredentialStore_old for example). Reinstall the plugin and check and there is still the issue

 Please attach the logs that you can locate here: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Trados AppStore\DeepL\DeepLLogs 
 This way we can check more details that we can see from the UI, as I can't reproduce the error.

 If you right-click on the DeepLLogs folder then select "Compress to..." and save the zip somewhere you can find it. 
 Then, if you haven't already, open your Reply in this thread then left-click the 'Insert' dropdown at the bottom of your reply window, and select "Image/File?Video" from the menu that pops up/drops down, then click "Upload" and navigate to where your zip is saved, double-click it or highlight then click 'Open' 
 That will upload your zip to your post.

Hi Richard Bille 
 Thank you for the log file. I can see in the details that the error shows forbidden access 403, meaning the authentication fails. I'd suggest checking the subscription and if you have V1 or V2 and try again.
