Hi everyone!

I had to change my PC (the old one abandoned me) and migrate my Traods on the new machine. I worked on a "nromal" Trados-Pack and it worked perfectly.

Now a client sent me a wsxz pack, I downloeded the compatibility pack, but this error shows up. What can I do to solve the problem and work?

Trados 2024: 18.0.2.3255 is my version

Trados Studio interface showing an error during the package import process. The error message states that the type 'Sdl.TranslationStudio.Api.Verification.ISettingsSerializer' could not be loaded.

Question improvement suggestion: Provide more details about the specific steps you took to install the compatibility pack and any error messages you encountered during the process.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

Hello! It seems you're encountering an issue with the World Server Compatibility Pack after migrating to a new PC. Here are some steps you can follow to resolve the problem:

**Step 1:** Ensure that you have the correct version of the World Server Compatibility Pack installed that matches your version of Trados Studio (18.0.2.3255). You can find the appropriate version on the RWS AppStore.

**Step 2:** If you haven't already, uninstall any previous versions of the World Server Components. You can do this by going to Control Panel > Programs and Features, selecting the World Server Components, and uninstalling it.

**Step 3:** Download the latest World Server Compatibility Pack from the RWS AppStore. Make sure to select the version that corresponds to your Trados Studio version.

**Step 4:** Once downloaded, unzip the archive (World Server Components.zip) and run the installer (World Server Components.msi). Ensure that Trados Studio is closed during this process.

**Step 5:** After the installation is complete, reopen Trados Studio and try to open the WSXZ package again.

**Step 6:** If the issue persists, consider checking for any updates within Trados Studio or reinstalling the software to ensure all components are correctly set up.

If you continue to experience issues, please provide any specific error messages you encounter, as this will help in diagnosing the problem further.
