Google Cloud Translation Provider plugin v1.2.2 - Trados Studio 2022 SR2 - empty MT translations

Question

The Google Cloud Translation provider plugin is used with HR and MT languages. We use the Advanced model with glossary for these two languages using a JSON file. 
 
 However, we noticed the same behaviour earlier this year with the Standard version of the plugin without glossary. 
 In all casecs, the segments processed with the Google MT provider appear in Draft status. 
 However, some of the segments appear empty and there is no way to force MT to be applied. 
 The following examples refer to HR language but the same happens with the MT language.

Have someone experienced this issue? Are there any workarounds available? and is there a way to fix it?

Hi Rafael Vera Ramos , this is not reproduceable with the later versions of the plugin. I would recommend installing the latest production release: Trados Studio 2024 SR1. As a team we are commited to supporting plugins for the latest production release. 
 We also have an objective to remove this message "[segment already translated... ]" entirely when the option 're-send draft or translated...' is not checked from the settings; for segments that already have a translation result from the provider. We shouldn't be repuposing the Translation Results to provide a message to the user that a translation request wasn't performed, as it risks other problems, especially if the core product changes its extensibility or caching is used etc...
