Facing error messages while setting up OpenAI parameter in Trados Studio

Question

I have installed the Trados Studio 2024 on my computer and tried to set up the OpenAI parameter for the plugin. 
 Our IT have tested the link with OpenAI API and the API key and it works well. However, it didn't go through successfully and we have tried a few times with different settings but keep receiving error messages. Is there any guidelines/ solution to fix it? Thanks. Error Message

Hi Cherry Kam , thx for forwarding to me the logs, it helps with identifying the root cause. It's important to always check the logs first, as some errors are not bubbled up to the UI, for some reason. The logs are reporting this: 
 OpenAI.Provider.API.AIProvider: 2025-09-12 18:14:44.0245 Info Method: "TestConfiguration", Response Status: Forbidden, Payload: "{\"error\":{\"code\":\"unsupported_country_region_territory\",\"message\":\"Country, region, or territory not supported\",\"param\":null,\"type\":\"request_forbidden\"}" I recommend you follow up with OpenAI support directly. They have posted an artible specifically realated to this message that is returned from their server, here: https://help.openai.com/en/articles/8983035-why-cant-i-sign-up-due-to-unsupported-country 
 
 I'll create an action item on our board to address: why these errors are not correctly reported in the UI message to the user. The message 'Invalid configuration' is not really helpful to you in understanding what the real problem is. Thank you for reporting this.
