Trados Studio 2021 has reached its retirement stage, so we want to set expectations that it’s no longer a version we can actively maintain. Per our support policy, engineering updates/fixes, technical support, and cloud capability support for Studio 2021 ended on 31 December 2024. As a result, we’re unlikely to be able to deliver product-side changes in Studio 2021 to address issues like this going forward.

On the DeepL side, DeepL is changing authentication requirements, and we’ve implemented support for the new authentication methods starting with Trados Studio 2022 (i.e. Studio 2022/2024/2026). More context here:

One additional note: the DeepL MT Provider for Studio 2021 is a community-driven plugin, so although RWS won’t be updating Studio 2021 itself, third-party/community developers can still implement and maintain changes to the plugin if they choose. Practically, the quickest resolution is to upgrade to a later version to ensure compatibility with DeepL’s newer authentication requirements; otherwise, it would depend on whether the community plugin is updated for Studio 2021.

I could not reply to the other post, as you turn it off. However, the answer to your question was there, in the subject/title.
I have fixed problem by myself. DeepL now works perfectly. I will upgrade to 2024, but not now. 
I read about it is not compatible with 2021 no longer, but somehow, still works for me. 

That being said, the RWS TM management tool does not update - but I don't really need it, as far as I know, so I just removed it.

So basically, the only way to move forward with this is to shell out $500 to upgrade.

Have you managed to make it work? I experienced the same last week, something must have changed for everyone. 

Now I tried to download an update and qith 2021 SR2, I can't even find where to set DeepL as translation provider.
