I think you may have missed the email that was sent to you.  I just checked with support and they emailed this:

Thank you for contacting Trados Studio Support.

Please try the following to attempt to resolve the issue and be able to start Studio:

1. Make sure Studio( including any error message) is closed
2. Go to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features and uninstall the Trados Compatibility and Migration Power Pack
Note: If a Windows restart is needed at this point please accept and continue with step 3

3. While Studio is still closed go to C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio ( just paste the path in Windows File Explorer and hit Enter)
4. Rename the 17 and Studio17 folders ( to 17_123 and Studio17_123 for example)
5. Start Studio and check if the issue still occurs

If the issue of Studio not starting still occurs or if you encounter any issues in taking the steps above we can also schedule a remote session to investigate this on your side.
I would be available tomorrow between 9 am and 1 pm CET.

A remote session would be fine. 11 am (Germany, Central European Summer Time). How do we organize?

We have this case opened ( Support Case Id : 00848454) on our support system and in order to organize a remote session, please reply directly to the emails we sent from the case- please look for the emails on your Inbox or your Spam folder.  I 'he just sent you another email just now and  please check for it and reply with your preferred times and your timezone, so we can organize a Webex meeting and try to resolve the issue.

Hi LYDIA, PAUL and VIRGIL,

It is now Saturday 24.4.24. I am slowly getting not amused. I was contacted by 3 different persons (Mix of online/email), I never got the mail from "support" Paul referred to. I answered yesterday the email from Virgil in order to plan a remote session this morning. Still waiting. Hope to read from you soon

You are clearly not seeing the emails you are getting sent by support from their support system. Please find them in your spam folders and allow them to be sent to you.

Nobody advised you would get support over the weekend. If you want that kind of a response then you should purchase a support contract.

Virgil was willing to work with you on Friday evening and you did not reply to his emails. You will now have to wait until Monday.

But please sort your email out or this could go on being unsuccessful for longer
