We are pleased to announce the general availability of SDL TMS 12.4. See below for some highlights of this minor version release.

Audit Trail
In SDL TMS 12.4, additional audit trails have been added when any user modifies the setup of SDL TMS. Audit trails and now recorded for the following setup objects in SDL TMS:

• Attributes
• Configurations
• Cost Formulas, Cost Models and Cost Variables
• File Types
• Groups
• QA Models
• Resources
• Users
• Workflows, Workflow Steps and Workflow Templates

The Audit Trail report allows all the above to be selected when the report is run.

Vendor Enhancements
Vendor support in SDL TMS 12.4 has been revisited. Customers who work with the vendor functionality in SDL TMS will benefit from over fifty fixes and enhancements that have been implemented in SDL TMS 12.4. The changes include, but are not limited to:

• Specific vendor checks have been replaced with permission checks so vendors can be granted permissions based on vendor groups.
• When a job is assigned to a single vendor, the vendor can see all the relevant costing and leverage data for the job.
• Vendors can now view the reports to which they have been granted permission; not just the vendor reports.
• Vendor project managers now have visibility of the job for the whole lifecycle of the job, not just when it is assigned to them.
• Vendor project managers can now assign and schedule steps for the projects that they own.

Updated File Types
The file types in SDL TMS 12.4 have been refreshed to reflect the latest SDL Trados Studio file types available.
