We do not make the due date a required field during project creation. If one is not provided, a due date about 7-8 weeks out applies to allow us time to finish up our current projects. We call this the "Booked until" date internally (it's also a custom project attribute), and the user is made aware of this date during project creation. If they are OK with getting the project by this date, they can leave the due date blank. Currently, we manually set the due date to the Booked Until date manually so that projects are shown in the right order when sorted by due date (i.e. they are at the back of the line). We are wondering if there is any way to do this programmatically within the workflow, or even if it is possible at all to access the due date in a workflow "Test project attribute" step so that it can be used for conditional branching. We are aware that it can be accessed with a "Send email" step.
