Anonymous User

Hi there,

Why am I referred to as a Anonymous User when creating projects in the cloud? Or, how can I change this to my name?

After creating a project I get a message in my mail like from an agency, it is a kind of schizophrenic feeling. Is there a way to stop these mails from coming (it's the green thing to do as well)?

Best regards,

Knut

  • One is a bug the other needs work... but both potentially have a workaround.

This is a bug we are working on.  You might be able to resolve this yourself if you are able to access:

Users / Members / ...identify your user..and edit your last and surname:

Screenshot of SDL Trados Live Users tab with a red arrow pointing to the Members section, indicating where to edit user information.

    This may fix it.

I also get very irritated by these and there isn't a setting to stop them.  So you need to create a filter in your email client, or even better if you have access to the admin on the server for your email, and create a rule to do something with these notifications.  If you're working on your own as a freelancer then I'd suggest you redirect to the trash... unless you want to be able to go back and check them at any time.  If you do then create  folder for the notifications in your email client and redirect them to there.
