Sharing knowledge is something that we at EXLRT truly believe in. It is part of our company culture to learn something, feel good about it, and eventually share it with our colleagues and fellow developers outside our organization. Each technology, nowadays, has its own developer community where less experienced developers seek help and try to learn from more experienced developers.
Again, it’s all about knowledge sharing and that’s why most of our developers are actively contributing to developer communities for technologies of our daily business, including but not limited to SDL Tridion, Sitecore and Kentico.
Just like every year, the MVP Selection Panel of the SDL developer community rewards its top influencers with the Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award for all high-value contributions made during the past year. And this year we’re happy to announce that Marko Milic, one of EXLRT’s senior SDL Tridion developers, has been recognized as one of the top influencers of the SDL Tridion developer community, and awarded with the prestigious SDL Tridion Sites MVP 2018 award.
We are really proud of Marko’s passion for knowledge sharing and community contributions, and the fact that his passion for technology led to this great achievement.
About Marko
Marko is a Tridion Technical Consultant at EXLRT, specialized in developing business online solutions using SDL Tridion CMS, C#, HTML, XML, XSLT, Java and Linux technologies.
He has developed his competence by implementing custom Tridion Sites solutions for clients, such as Turkish Airlines. His main area of expertise within Tridion Sites are Core Service and SmartTarget / Fredhopper. Marko would describe himself as a person who loves challenges, is hardworking and result driven, with high accent on customer satisfaction.
Being recognized as one of the main contributors to the Tridion Community is a great honor which, quite honestly, took me by surprise. Being valued by the client is extremely important for every developer but being valued by a developer community is an achievement on its own.
I am really honored that something that started as simply sharing my findings, questions and daily struggles as developer became a bigger social dialog which resulted in this achievement. We as software developers mainly focus on finding solutions to the problems but sharing them with others is as much important as fixing them.
