We are excited to announce the launch of the latest version of our Digital Experience Accelerator (DXA), version 2.3. This release brings a host of enhancements and new features to streamline your development process and enhance your digital experiences. Let us dive into what is new.

Platform Support

DXA 2.3 introduces expanded platform support for .NET environment. In .NET, we now support Framework 4.8, additionally upgraded to DXD 12 GraphQL-based Content Delivery API’s, these updates ensure compatibility with the latest technologies, empowering developers with more tools and capabilities. 

Enhanced Functionality

DXA 2.3 .NET

In the .NET realm, DXA 2.3 brings a new search module provider to support Tridion Sites Out of the Box Content Delivery (CD) search feature with OpenSearch (formerly Elasticsearch), additionally included faceted search GraphQL API changes in the Tridion API client provider. Part of .NET DXA 2.3, the "Audience Manager" and "UGC" modules have been upgraded to support Framework 4.8, they are not compatible with Tridion Sites 10 and DXD 12, underscoring the importance of compatibility considerations in your development journey.

Compatibility and Considerations

DXA 2.3 coexists with its predecessor, DXA 2.2, providing users with flexibility and choice. However, there are important compatibility considerations to note:

• DXA 2.3 .NET is compatible with Framework 4.8
• DXA 2.3 .NET new search provider only supported from Tridion Sites 10
