Dear all,
Using the SDK and advice from other colleagues, I have created a routine that creates the project files centrally for our in-house translators.
The project files as well as the source and target files all stored in the same folder in a network share.
We are translating from EN into other target languages.
The working folder looks like this:
\\NetworkShare\Project folder – Annual Report \
Annual Report EN-FR.sdlproj
Annual Report EN-EL.sdlproj
Annual Report EN-DE.sdlproj
de-DE
el-GR
en-GB
fr-FR
All project files are in the same folder and all the language folders are in sub-folders.
This means that all the different projects are using the same folder for the source files (the folder en-GB). Could this be a problem for Studio 2014? I am not sure if Studio needs to access the source folder (en-GB) later on and whether it would be a problem if two different translators (each working from their own project file) worked at the same time with the same source folder.
Has anyone tried something similar before?
Thanks!
Daniel
