Hello,
I appreciate this is a very basic question, but I can't find the answer by searching the Community after using keywords like "DLLs" and "Reference".
We want to get a simple proof-of-concept application going to export a .sdltm memory to TMX using the 2014 API. However, we're getting stuck simply on the basics: in Visual Studio, trying to add a reference to Sdl.LanguagePlatform.TranslationMemoryApi.dll in the "Studio3" folder doesn't work. In Visual Studio 2008 it just shows up with a yellow warning icon and no path set; in Visual Studio 2013 it says that "the project targets .NETCore while the file reference targets .NETFramework".
We've not had similar issues with previous versions of Trados. We also recently viewed the Trados Studio 2014 API webinar recording, but that focuses on the API for the Studio UI itself, but right now we just want to start porting previous memory automation tasks over to 2014.
Thanks for any pointers!
Robert
