How do I build a package for my plug-in?

Question

I've been working on some of the plug-in samples SDL-Community pack, morphing one of them into a new plug-in. 
 It's all been going great but now I've come to the point where I want to build a single package to give to people to test. How do I do that? 
 When I debug it, the plug-in is built and placed into Trados Studio 2015 automatically. How do I instead make a handy single package? 
 Is there some magic required in Visual Studio 2015 or perhaps some Trados packaging utility I need to run. 
 I'm pretty new to .NET so please excuse me if I'm asking the obvious.

Every-time you build your plugin file from within Visual Studio and .sdlplugin file is generated in the output folder. That is the package you need to give for testing. The user will have to double-click the file and follow the steps. Also you might find this article useful for cleaning the plugin output location.
