Trados Studio 2024 - prepare Word project to include Table of Content



Trados Studio 2024 - How do I prepare a Word translation project to include the table of content? I want to know how to configure this (project parameters? Options?) - I know it's probably a basic knowledge question, but thank you for taking the time to lead me to this setting.

  • Might be useful as part of a wider session on small tips and tricks here and there.  Essentially the answer is you don't!  At least you don't translate it because a ToC is generated automatically from the headings in your document.  So by translating the headings, you then open the target word file and regenerate the ToC. If it doesn't update itself automatically.
