Hi,
It would be helpful if Project Planning and Licensing had the ability to control duplicate instrument profile records in Library->Instruments, either with
1) an option to merge duplicate profile records: where we a) compare the fields b) select fields to save and fields to delete or c) re-edit manually; or
2) an option to designate parent/child profiles, or
3) an option to change a profile into a variation of another profile. This would make our research more accurate/speedier, as we only can research variations linked to one profile at a time
