MultiTerm Desktop is a database application that allows the user to create, manage and present terminology.
These databases can be either bilingual or multilingual and contain industry or organization specific terminology, ensuring consistent use of terminology throughout the translation.
As an example, here you can see a multilingual termbase entry, with an image and two possible translations for Netzkabel.
One option (power cord) is set to 'forbidden, whilst power cable is the preferred option.
In Trados Studio, you can easily search for specific terms (via Termbase Search)
You can also add new terms to your termbase as you work- simply by highlighting the source and target term and right-clicking.
You can then update the status and save to your termbase
