SDL Studio PowerShell Toolkit - \Sample_Roundtrip.ps1 cannot be loaded

Hi!

I try to run the \Sample_Roundtrip.ps1 via Windows PowerShell to script the Project Automation API of SDL Trados Studio Professional.

I used the SDL Studio Powershell Toolkit to do this:

How can I load, digitally sign and execute it (see error messages below)? Do I need special user/administrator rights to do this?

Already checked setexecution-policy remotelysigned

Hi Manuel,

The downloaded scripts are not signed, so setting the execution policy to "RemoteSigned" means you cannot run them!
Probably the easiest way to run them is to use the Bypass flag like Evzen said.
You could also temporarily set the execution policy to unrestricted.
Having said that, here is a tutorial for signing scripts, but it is a bit of a hassle:

Also, just to let you know, the scripts are outdated and will produce errors if you have Trados Studio 2015 or higher.

Since I use Trados Studio 2017, I need updated scripts. Is there another GitHub toolkit or the like to script the Project Creation API 3.0 (or SDL Trados Studio 2017 API sample toolkits, e.g. Translation Memory API 3.0)?

No, there isn't any other, you need to do the changes yourself.

Actually, you don't need to change much - basically just modify the paths to the DLLs in each module and modify the New-FilebasedTM function to use the additional 2 parameters which were added in later Studio versions:

$TM = New-Object Sdl.LanguagePlatform.TranslationMemoryApi.FileBasedTranslationMemory ($TMPath, $Description, $TMSourceLanguage, $TMTargetLanguage, $FuzzyIndexes, $Recognizers, $TokenizerFlags, $WordCountFlags)

(Plus, you need to define these new parameters, of course)

And that should be pretty it...
