Reporting - add TQA category error counts to reporting

Currently, you have to go into an actual file to see how many of each error type that exists. Add support to be able to see error counts by category for a TQA effort.

  • Hi Ian,

Should the measure not be named "number of segments"? It looks like the data is correct when comparing "number of errors" from TQA review summary (top table) with "number of segments" from translation productivity assessment (bottom table), but "number of segments" is actually an incorrect number. When I look at the actual file related to my screenshot below, there are only 8 segments with issues and not 18 as the translation productivity assessment data suggests.

Screenshot showing two tables. The top table lists 'Number of TQA Errors' as 18 and 'Number of Segments with TQA' as 8 for Vietnamese (Vietnam) and a source file named V10_product_.

  • Hi Ian,

I will check this, but your first visualization looks like it shows number of segments with errors and not number of errors. If a segment has multiple errors, my understanding is that it will only be counted once and does not count each error.

  • HI Russell,

It should now be possible via Custom Reporting to create this type of report using either the Translation Assessment or Translation Productivity Assessment datasets. See below a couple of examples for visuals I created that show the number of TQA errors by category.

Side note: In yesterday's release, we introduced a new field into these datasets that provides the TQA parent category. Previously, only the TQA sub-category details were available via these datasets.
