This is now possible with Studio 2024. Grammarly now works out of the box with Studio thanks to the Editor modernization for accessibility and better automation..
Make it possible to link Grammarly app to Trados Studio
For a long time this would not have been possible, but there is now a Beta API for Grammarly. I still don't know if it will be possible but we have applied for access to the SDK and if they respond appropriately we will take a look and see whether we can deliver this or not.
No. I didn't even receive an email from them, so I have applied again. Even if they do respond positively we probably won't look at this for some months.
I am a premium subscription user of Grammarly, which I use as part of my QA prior to delivery of a translation into English. Inspired by the above, I have just written to Grammarly with a request to make integration into Trados Studio available (with a requirement for subscription to make full use of all facilities).
Maybe if other users of Grammarly make similar requests, they might see some advantage in adding this facility.

"Yesterday, in a blog post, Grammarly announced that it would be discontinuing the Text Editor SDK, the developer tool that puts the company’s automated editing functionality into any app. The tool will be shut down on January 10th, 2024, after which the functionality will cease to work in any applications where it’s in use."
Michael Beijer this may not be an issue at all anymore. One of the biggest chunks of work we have implemented for the 2024 release is working towards accessibility of the product for users working with screen readers and braille displays. A by product of this work is that some tools will automagically work with Trados Studio and Grammarly is one of them. We didn't need to do an integration with Grammarly for this, we just benefitted from the significant work we have been carrying out under the hood to ensure that Trados Studio is becoming an accessible product.
