I haven't found any similar requests between the ideas submitted, although I can't imagine being the first to think of this.

We work on source texts which often contain errors (due to lack of time and attention). If we leave the source as it is and make the correction on the target, we will have errors in our memory, but changing source segments one by one is extremely time-consuming, and we often can't afford to do that. Why does the translator have to pay for the poor work of the editors? Suppose the text is about a product description and the source segment mistakenly refers to a men's product. If we have to translate the same description several times because the product comes in different sizes and colours, we will have to modify each segment affected by the same error. In this specific case, an option to search and replace source segments would incredibly optimize the work of the translators and help them keep a clean memory.
