Idea Delivered Partially

Have you tried the "Work In Progress" (WIP) batch task? This might do what you need - analyses files without any lookups in TM to give you an accurate snapshot of where you are in the project and what work is left.

Setting as "Delivered Partially" based on this comment.

Analysis without active TM

Hi,

there is a feature that would be quite handy in SDL Trados Studio for some users who use the analsysis task more often and with complex projects.

If an analysis has to be done without activated TM's, Trados Studio should give information on this, for example with a checkbox "Ignore" or something like that.

Best regards,

  • Hi Daniel, yes, and it's a good feature, but my question was to add a simply checkbox which ignores the TM`s when running the batch task "Analyse". I know that you can deactivete them within Language pairs-> Translation memories. This is why I selected Trados Studio Ideas, because it's an idea that might help some people out. Anyway, thanks for helping. :)
