Avoid concatenation when performing Concordance for text across several segments

Good morning,

In a recent project, some segments have been splitted with a hard return. In instances like:

Screenshot showing Trados Studio segments with a hard return issue. Segments 247 and 248 display concatenated text 'MaintenanceUnder the Bonnet' without proper spacing.

If I select the text for seg. 247+248 and perform a Concordance search, the text being looked up in TM concatenates and reads "Maintenance Under theBonnet", so I don't get accurate results. Maybe we could add any logic so that words are "correctly" separated? It would help a bit.

I would suggest to try and do better prep in DTP engineering so such segments are not split in the first place - i.e. tackle the problem upstream to avoid such issues downstream in translation wherever…
