Complete Word-like integration

This is the most radical idea. At the moment, I translate in Studio, then Save Target As to be able check/correct in Word while manually duplicating the corrections in Studio so the TM is up-to-date. Twice as much work and risk of mistakes.

Idea
Allow the translating to be done as now, but then have a checking/correcting page where edits can be performed that is completely Word-like. Much easier to spot mistakes / things that need improving, and corrections need be done only once.

  • What about Excel, powerpoint, html, InDesign, InCopy, Framemaker, XML, PO and all the rest of the supported filetypes.  I think a better solution is you use retrofit to bring the edited target file back into Studio and update the changes.  Or use the export for bilingual review and do a similar thing.  Either way these methods work for every single filetype supported by Studio and prevent you having to double handle the changes.
