This is now in progress. The initial implementation will support the high-contrast themes in Windows 11, so if you use a dark theme there, Studio will honour that and adhere to it. We might initially launch this as a beta feature to get your feedback. Stay tuned...

Dark Mode or night Mode in SDL

Can SDL editor template be made into Night mode as its very white no matter how much line colors are changed.

  • In recent years, dark theme has become a must on both mobile and desktop operating systems, with all major apps, even the free ones, following suit and allowing for automated switching between light and dark mode, based on user settings in the operating system. Trados is a paid software and should absolutely adopt this industry standard. The dark theme would help release the strain on our eyes in the evenings.
