Due date for single tasks (within a certain project)

Hi all,

It has just come to my attention there is no such feature as that allowing me to set a due date for a specific task within a certain project...

Apparently, due dates can only be set for entire projects, thus affecting the due date for all tasks within that project - which is something I don't want.

Please advise,
