Easily Detect Updated Files in Trados Studio for Review

Current Issue:

When working on large translation projects with numerous files, it is common to outsource some files for translation and then receive the updated XLIFF files back. After pasting the updated files into the target language folder, Trados Studio does not currently provide a way to detect which files have been updated based on the modification date. As a result, users must manually cross-check the files in Windows Explorer to identify the updated ones and select them individually for review. This process is time-consuming and prone to errors.

Suggested Solution:

Implement a feature in Trados Studio that refreshes the files view and detects updated files based on their modification date. When a file’s modification date is later than its original creation or last saved date in the project, Studio could automatically flag these files with a visual indicator (e.g., a colored icon, a timestamp label, or a "modified" tag). This would allow users to easily identify and open updated files for review without leaving the application. An optional filter to show only updated files would further streamline the process.
