for some file type settings rules it would be nice if one could export/import only embedded contents rules for example.

If you change some embedded rules for tag creation that would also apply to other file types (e.g. Excel 97-2003, Excel 2007-2019, Bilingual Excel, Multilingual Excel) then you have to open and edit all these file types with the same x rules. Some rules can also be used cross file (not only in Excel).

So if you could just chose to export/import Embedded contents rules for example you could easily create rules in one file type and then export them to all other file types that require the same rules.

This could be achieved by asking with checkboxes (All (default), content editing, General, Embedded contents, QuickInsert, Font…) which part of the settings should be exported at export stage. At import step you then only change the parts that were exported.
