Of course I approve. Yes, I know about the QA settings, but doing this automatically (via a setting, as some docs may contain spaces for formatting or other reasons!) makes much more sense time-wise.

If you do enter spaces at the beginning or end of a segment, Studio will strip them already today automatically before storing the TU in the TM. TUs in TM cannot have leading or trailing spaces. So in theory this is already available today but not sure if it works in all scenarios?

Also as part of the Tag Verifier settings?

The above settings are available both via File>Options=your profile settings and via Project Settings (which always overrule your profile settings)

I think the best place to add a space checker would be under File>Options>Editor>Autocorrect as that would be automatically applied to all documents worked on in the chosen Target language, regardless of project settings:

It would have to be possible to turn it on and off. I frequently work on documents that have multiple spaces in the Source that must be included in the Target text
