This is in progress for next service release of Trados Studio 2024 to be released later this year, exact timing to be announced.

Font size for comments

Some of us have trouble to see very small font sizes, like comments. There should be a way to make it bigger.

Generally speaking, anything that could be done to make Trados visually comfortable would be nice.

Please note I use Trados 2021 and I have no intention of upgrading. I already did and had to roll back because of issues in the interaction between Trados and Multiterm. I would love a solution for comments that could be applied to all Trados versions.

  • Hi. I completely agree with you. For example, the left panel in Multiterm has a tiny font size, almost impossible to read. I have good eyesight, so it's OK for me, but accessibility should be a priority in any software.

    Hi Jerzy, thank you for your answer. However, I think you did not understand me... I had problems in T2024, and they were problems the Trados technical service could not solve, which is why I rolled back to T2021. Further to this, I forgot to mention these problemas happened when working with remote TMs through a server.

  • If you have problems with MultiTerm, upgrade to 2024. This version has a much more stable term recognition. As for your font suggestion, I think there have been already some proposals in similar direction. Having the possibility to adapt font sizes in auto suggest or comments and other parts of Studio is indeed a very desirable idea.
