Hi!
The current RegEx support for QA does not allow for corrections to be shown based on the regular expression entered (especially for terminology issues when source and target is entered) during the QA check. You only get an error and have to figure out yourself how to fix the error. There is the RegEx Match AutoSuggest Provider. However, it works on a segment basis only and is not integrated with the QA check in Studio.
In particular, customers using the MultiTerm term recognition QA check for post-editing machine translation results get many false positives (e.g. multi-word expressions with generic terms (e.g. “object”) in English produce irrelevant errors;) and have to correct the same mistakes several times. This becomes especially tedious/problematic with larger files when the QA batch task takes very long or does not finish at all (e.g. for larger Excel files; > 60,000 words).
Best regards,
Manuel
