Translate
We primarily translate product descriptions via Trados/Groupshare and add several hundred brand names as variables.
These are then, of course, highlighted in blue in the editor to indicate to the translators that they are non-translatable. Unfortunately, I still regularly come across brand names that are being translated. I can and do pass this back to the agency/translator for the future and often also add a customised QA check for a specific brand name using Regex.
It would be ideal though if there was an out-of-the-box QA check for translated variables in Trados as we have hundreds of brand names and new ones are added all the time.
