Slash the trasnlation

Clients often ask me to provide translation along with source separated by slash:

Source sentence / Target translation
(in single line)

or

Source sentence /
Target translation
(two lines)

It would be great to have a magic option to merge source and target with slash either in a single line or in two lines.
Maybe it was already proposed, but I could not find it.
Thank you

  • Just a minor update: this feature (two languages in one document) is a must for major international projects where every single document from simple letter to as-built drawings and geodetic surveys must be in national language + English.

Such oil&gas companies as Exxon, Chevron, Technip and many others use this bilingual slashed format even though it may look a bit primitive.

  • * So far I translate the entire text as I normally do (to have the translation in my TM) first; then I  change all segments status from Translated to Draft; then disable the TM Upgrade feature; then manually copy the target; then press Copy Source To Target; then add space and slash at the end; then press ctrl+v to insert the target just copied at the very beginning of this process. As a result, I have Source / Target segments where I need.

It would be also great to select particular segments I want to slash, because sometimes (like with numbers, dates, different parts of same paragraph, serial numbers, etc.) I do not need to slash.
