The behaviour for moving Folders

Currently, behavior in Publication Manager, Web Client/Organize Space is consistent with Microsoft Windows File Explorer

You can give a user read-only access to avoid such unattended changes similar to what you would do in Windows File Explorer

Folder History

A couple of additional questions I am interested in:

- Do you see it as a read-only audit log, like who did what at what time?

- Or do you see it as versioned history with a possibility to roll back changes for example?

- For a rollback case, do you expect rollback only for a Folder or for items inside it?

Folder operation history

It happens that a TridionDocs beginner rename or move a folder accidentaly. In the case, there is no way to confirm who and when renamed or moved the folder. I need a function to track such folder operations.

First of all, thank you for your idea

I see two parts in it that can be discussed separately

  • Hi Andriy,

I think both options would bring great value. Even only the read-only log for checking what has happened and logging such events is great from app security perspective.

    Thanks,
    Alex
