When a user creates a new version of an object, in a dita-map that has been released, he/she gets the message to create a branch of that map.
If a publication contains multiple dita-maps, it's not always clear for a user if there are more versions available, even not when the latest version has a non-released status.
the idea is to mention the latest version of the map in the create new version / branch dialog.
