Overview of all comments in Review Space

Hi,

Our authors and reviewers are complaining about reviewing large publications (1000+ pages in print) with a lot of comments. With the latest version of Review Space and Draft Space (Tridion Docs 15.1) the comments are better aligned with the elements in the topics, but the overview of how many comments you have to go through is not clear.

It would be great if you could open a new window (or similar) to get the complete list of comments, a counter on the number of comments in different statuses. Also, as mentioned before (in other tickets) to be able to search within the comments.

Also, the user interface seems to "flash" and "jump" when several comments are stacked on top of each other, which confuses our users. The behavior with stacked comments could be improved.

Kr, Pia

  • Hi

Thank you for sharing this detailed feedback.

We build Collective Spaces on top of our partner Fonto’s product, and I will forward your comments regarding the behavior of stacked annotations to their team for further improvement.

Also, Fonto has been working on a “Manage Comments” feature, which is intended to address many of the challenges you’ve mentioned—such as navigating, searching, and managing comments in large publications. Once this feature is available, we plan to incorporate it into Collective Spaces. However, please note that the feature is still in an active research and development phase on Fonto’s side, and there is no confirmed release date.

I appreciate your input—it helps us and our partners prioritize the right improvements.
