This has a lot of appeal now that you can no longer do secondary sorting on the Baseline tab. We used to sort by object type, then by status, so we could release all the maps at the same time easily, then graphics, etc. We just upgraded and are very disappointed that this is no longer possible! If you sort by status, any prior sorting goes away so it's back to hunt and peck.
This would be particularly valuable to filter on (in our case) functional area owner metadata, or feature metadata, or bug metadata, or other values where we might want to coordinate activity in part through metadata values on the content.
