We are pleased to announce the availability of Service Pack 1 for SDL XPP 9.4 effective July 30, 2020.
In addition to a roll-up of issue fixes, this release also includes:
- Platform support for RH Linux 8 that can be leveraged by RH Linux customers who have installed XPP on a separate server from Contenta and LiveContent.
- XPP Compare updates including significant CALS table enhancements and the ability to perform character by character comparisons.
- Divxml enhancements for the styling and placement of edit traces, underlines, and tabular ruling
Any maintenance customer currently using SDL XPP 9.x is entitled to this v9.4.1 Service Pack.
We encourage you to upgrade to this latest version release, even if you have already received Hot Fix patches.
As with any new release we ask that you review the Service Pack Release Notes and Fixed Issues Report prior to installing the Service Pack. The Release Notes, along with the SDL XPP Documentation set is available here: docs.sdl.com/sdlxpp94
To obtain the SDL XPP 9.4.1 Fixed Issue Report, or to initiate the ordering and delivery of this Service Pack, please open a support ticket through the SDL Customer Support Web Portal.
Effective with this release, the current SDL XPP Release status is:
- Active - SDL XPP 9.4.1
- Matured - SDL XPP 9.3.1
- Retired - SDL XPP 9.2.X and older
Customers running on retired releases should consider upgrading soon as although we may still be able to provide technical support, we are not able to provide Hot Fixes for a retired version release.
