FYI - we are successfully running with tomcat 8.5 / XPP 9.2.2. / XPP WS 1.3 on a Windows 2012 server in Citrix environment. Note: we are also (until 2019) running this with Contenta 5.0.2. *While this is a known unsupported setup we have no issues to date. *
