Thanks Paul. As per your advised now I am able to generate the page label by manually inserting :pdfs xymacro. Now I am trying to get these :pdfs xymacros through XyPerl. Will let you know incase of any concern.
I also noticed that :pdfs;GEN macro is not supported in "Direct to PDF" as we are generating the PDFs using "Direct toPDF" option. Please advise is there anyway to achieve it using "Direct to PDF" option.
I don't believe that currently there is a way to achieve this using "Direct to PDF" (divpdf).
I took a look at the PDFlib documentation (the third-party package we use to implement "Direct to PDF") and it appears to have support for specifying "page labels". But we have not implemented any "hooks" to those PDFlib features in XPP.
I suggest that you got to the SDL XPP Ideas community page and enter an "idea" asking for the ability to set "page labels" with "Direct to PDF". Using SDL Ideas is the way that product requests are handled now (rather than opening a case/ticket with support), as it allows other users to comment on and vote on such requests.
