In a DIV if I right click, in "Managed Division", "Traces", "View Marks", it shows up Master mtr div file with Mark and Session info. I can see there are *mtr_div.sde files. If I "cat" those files I can see the "Marks" info but no session numbers there. My question is where and how we can extract mark and session div data. Appreciate if anyone can help me on this? The _mtr_div.sde files are binary data files, so that is why using 'cat' will not work to dump the data in those files in a way that you can tell what are the session numbers.
Instead, you will want to do something like 'sdedit path/_mtr_div.sde -xml -aout temp_file' for each division.
The -xml option outputs the data in an XML format. Leave out the -xml option and the data is output in an older "classic" style. Try both to see which one is easier for you to use (and parse).
Remember that the session numbers in any particular _mtr_div.sde file apply only to that division. The session numbers will not be (or are very unlikely to be) the same across divisions.
