XPP License Release Problem in Citrix

We are having an issue where the xyvu-x licenses are not releasing once the division is closed, if a user has a division open for more than 5 minutes. The license remains active even after the user closes the xyview window and even after the user logs out of the network. We are erroneously reaching the license limit because RLM has not removed these licenses.


The only way to remove the stuck licenses is to restart the SDL_License service.

Has anyone else seen this or can offer a reason as to why this could be happening?

Users are connecting from a Citrix XenDesktop (windows) via X/server using pathfinder to the XPP Server (also windows).
