Post-dispatch from XyUser Conference 2016

Another well-received conference has concluded, and plans are afoot for 2017.

Tuesday's and Wednesday's sessions included a four-part track on 508 compliance and pdfmarks. Whether you have universal accessibility requirements or not, the two-part PDF UA session was informative about Acrobat options. Another session focused on preparing anyone to use Perl for writing XPP "macros" when creating XPP style sheets using CSS. The conference continues to be a useful forum for XPP users to discuss development issues and get answers or suggestions (such as troubleshooting runaway composition). And of course, it provides an all-important opportunity to influence the direction and features of XPP.
