Export my data from TBM 6 to Baccs 5

 i recently upgraded to TBM6 and I'm finding it overcomplex and not customizable to my needs. I would need to remove 90% of the fields (can't find the way to do it or documentation for that), but also the workflow overwelms me. 
 I am considering downgrading to Baccs 5 (4.14) but exporting JSON from TBM6 fails on importing it in Baccs5. Exporting each data family (customers, jobs, invoices) as excel also is not accepted by Baccs5. 
 Is this possible? Is it advisable? 
 Are there other things I could do? 
 Background info: 
 I am a freelancer, do not work with Trados integration, not with projects, no networking, no teamwork, not using anything apart from: create client, create a job, invoice jobs monthly, and periodically export invoices for the tax agency. In the past I could just click an invoice and set it as "Paid", which now is a tremendous hassle creating payments that most of the time do not result in invoices marked as "paid". So sorry...

As I told you per e-mail, and will share here in case it is of interest, I am starting to find my way through the personalization process of all the data entry windows, and -not without complication and necessary intuition- I am quite happy. So far I have reduced the clutter of my Job creation, Client profile and Invoice view ;) 
 If I am allowed, for the new big update I'd like to have these personalization options more at hand with a right click on any field to remove or add it, just like Baccs 4 and 5.
