Segment size limit in Online Editor

Question

Is there a way to increase the segment size limit to be able to handle an HTML file with large segments in Online Editor? We are getting files with large segments, usually subtitle transcripts. In some cases, preparing these files in Trados Team will fail with "Error in File Format Conversion": 
 "FPS_ERROR,The segment starting with 'hi there good to see you all welcome to my' exceeded maximum size of 2000 in file xxxxxx.html. 
 The actual HTML files are fairly complex, and we are hesitating to make changes that we will need to undo before we hand the files off to the client again. 
 We are able to create a Studio project with these files. The error only appears when creating a Team project, so I believe this is an Online Editor limitation. We tried several workarounds, like creating the project in Studio and loading the SDLXLIFF file into a Team project - nothing works. 
 At this point, the only two solutions (that avoid messing with the source files) are Studio Packages (ughhh) or GroupShare. Does anyone have a better idea to keep this within the Team/Online Editor environment?

Update: We may have found a solution. The source file was a CMS export in HTML5 format. After some investigation around the section where the error message was pointing to, we found that the errors pointed to automatically transcribed captions. Some of those chunks were not edited by the client and consisted of extremely long sentences, without any punctuation or other segmentation delimiters. On the other hand, there were countless
HTML elements and those had thrown us off. The error message pointed to "... a size of 2000...", this was probably referring to characters. While Studio did not complain and did a good job of segmentation using
elements, Team apparently did not recognize those. After running a S&R to globally replace all "
" with ".

" (to make sure we can later find all occurrences and change them back to
) we were able to parse the files in Team. Lessons learned: - Studio sometimes parses files different from Team, even if you use the default file types available in both; - Team error messages can be cryptic. The problem is not a file format conversion issue.

Is there no natural breakpoint to segment on? A semi colon or other natural break points? Usually there should be something to segment on within such large sentences.
