You don't need to login to get to the Trados help documentation.  Where are you trying this from?  The help link in the ribbon should tae you here:

This may be related to the version of Studio you are using as we switched to https at some point and older versions of Studio won't have this fix.  What version are you using?  It should just open up the forums in Studio so you can post directly from there:

The tutorial links take you to a youtube site, again another site altogether and one that doesn't require a login:

The only one that requires credentials is the forums since this needs you to be logged in if you wish to post.

where my usual username and password are rejected. Strange, isn't it? (The URL you quote works fine, only the button doesn't take me there.)

My Studio version is 2022 - 17.0.0.11594.

All other links on the Help ribbon work fine (except, as I said, the Forums button), as far as I have tried them. So I have no problem reaching either the Help texts or the Forums or the Community, it's just that these two glitches I have described are irritating (and might affect other users too).

Try updating Studio.  The current production releases are Trados Studio 2022 - 17.0.4.13209, and MultiTerm 2022 - 17.0.0.1685.

It may be that some changes since the release you have resolved these things, or were changed to accommodate changes that occurred since the original release.

I should add that the Tridion Docs login pane above appears also when I click the Help button in any Studio dialog, which is really irritating.

Points towards you needing to upgrade I think.

Have updated. The Help > Forums link now works. Unfortunately, the Help > Help Topics button and the Help button in the dialogs still lead to the same Tridion Docs login panel shown above.

Perhaps this is a caching issue?  Try clearing your cache in your browser and try again?

I am using Trados Studio Freelance Plus (17.0.5.14757) and have the same issue on one of two machines.

On my laptop, the help button in any Studio dialog, as well as “Help Topic Online Help” under the “Help” tab in Trados Studio, takes me to the same Tridion login as in Mat’s case. However, the “Help System” link under “More Resources” in the “Welcome” view takes me to https://docs.rws.com as it should.

On my desktop PC (same Trados Studio license and version, same browser and version (latest Firefox) as on the laptop), the help buttons in dialogs work as they are supposed to, i.e., they take me straight to the corresponding online help topic.

It appears that, on my laptop, calls to docs.rws.com are redirected to https://sdldoc01.sdlproducts.com/ISHSTS/account/signin by some Azure server that takes a dislike to my laptop (or its IP or MAC address or whatever).

I attach a screenshot of a Firefox debug log from my laptop showing that Trados Studio requested a connection to https://docs.rws.com but got redirected with response 302 (found) by your server which then serves up the Tridion login prompt.
