WorldServer plug-in doesn't work: why?

Question

Since I've updated my Trados to 17.2.9.18688 I cannot open any WorldServer package: 
 
 I have downloaded and installed the latest version of the WS package: 
 
 Trados reports 0 installed plug-ins: 
 
 But the WS icons are visible: 
 
 And here I see the WS plug-in: 
 
 How can I fix this?

Before you install the new version, try to remove the older one first from these paths: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\17\Plugins\Packages\ C:\Users\ USERNAME \AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\17\Plugins\Unpacked\ Delete the plugin file from both locations and then try to install it directly from within Studio. If installing from within Studio fails, try the same by downloading the plugin from Appstore.
