The start date for this license has not been reached

I'm trying to activate my SDL Trados Studio 2017 upgrade, and I'm getting the "The start date for this license has not been reached" error. I see in the knowledge base that the solution is to reset the license, but pray tell, how do I reset my license? I can't find a "Reset" button on the website or in the software. (For future reference when others encounter this, please a) explain what triggers this error and b) answer with exact menu commands to save time and frustration.) Thanks!

    I don't know which article you are referring to, but for Studio 2017 it is not possible for you to reset the licence. You need to log a request with the licensing team for this using http://support.xl8.one

    There are two possible reasons for a message like this:

    1. The clock on your computer is set to a date in the past;
    2. Something went wrong with the licence and it indeed needs to be reset by support

    Since it's Sunday morning I have reset the licence for you so please try again. If it still fails then you need to do two things. First check your computers clock, and second contact support through the aforementioned link so they can look at this for you on Monday.
