Help - I've had starter for the past three years and have 10 days left on my subscription. Today I purchased the Freelance version, downloaded it and got the activation key. However, I'm not getting the activation window to enter the code.... In the past, an wizard let me through the steps but I'm not seeing that.
On my c file, I only see SDL MultiTerm and SDL plugin installer from today. Did I miss something?

Hi Paul - I've now followed some of your steps - I've deactivated the license for the starter and here's what shows up in my account - If I activate, how do I know it won't reactivate the remaining days on my starter edition and not the freelance I just purchased?

Each activation code is unique, so you would activate with your new code which will not reactivate your old Starter licence. This article should help you with the process:

Further to Paul's assistance over the weekend, I would like to confirm your account has now been cleaned up and the multiple confusing and unnecessary activation codes/licenses have now been removed to show only what you actually should have.
Paul has provided you with the a temporary license, which I see you have activated and is valid until March.
I would therefore ask you to get in contact with me direct (swhale@sdl.com) at a convenient time, and i will explain (telephone?) how to swap the temporary license for the permanent freelance license without ANY disruption to your work flow.
