Update released on December 18th

Hello,

Sorry if i did not identify this question before.

I updated Studio 2017 correctly. Multiterm, however, does not complete the installation.

Multiterm urges me to do so and starts but the installation aborts. It says I I should generate a debug on the folder C:\Program Data\SDL\Chainer\logs and then contact the technical support.

Then it says Xml Exception. Falta el elemento raíz.

I am quite lost now sinc I tried some links on other similar questions which did not work.

Any ideas, please?

For licensing or installation issues that prevent you from working we have a route for all customers to get help. This can be achieved really quickly using this link:

You have two options:

1. Submit a case using a webform
2. Use live chat to get a licence reset

You want to use the first option and make sure that you refer to this thread so the teams can see what you have tried already.

Hello Sofía Bengoa ,

'Chainerhost' errors are often caused when the installer has been unable to execute the com-ponents correctly.

You should be able to fix this by manually installing the components of multiTerm

Please follow the instructions in this article- locating the .msi components- double clicking and manually installing.

Please note you will need to be logged on as admin.

It all worked correctly. After installing Multiterm updates notice disappeared. No upadate could be run. But I can now translate with TM and Term bases.Thank you.
